Sullivan Family Library | Services: Borrowing

Library circulation staff will provide assistance in borrowing library material and in answering questions about your library record.

Chaminade ID needed

Your current, validated Chaminade ID card is used for borrowing. Get your Chaminade ID by bringing a photo ID such as a driver's license to the Client Services Office, Second Road, Sullivan Family Library 101. Update your validation sticker every semester.

Who can borrow

Current Chaminade students (including evening and online programs), faculty and staff may borrow circulating material from Sullivan Family Library.

New library users must show proof of current Chaminade affiliation (e.g. current CUH ID) and will need to complete a short application form.

What can be borrowed

Most of the general collection may be checked out of the library and renewed once. Some materials are restricted to library use, such as the Hawaiian/Pacific collection, magazines, newspapers and some course reserve material. The reference collection on the main floor is also restricted to library use. This collection includes dictionaries, encyclopedias, atlases and other quick reference tools. See the circulation loan page for more information.
